Three hundred years of spite! D&D Character Design - Undead Cleric illustration

After a supposedly easy capture of a necromancer went particularly badly, a captain of an order of undead hunters finds himself both jobless as well as lifeless, burried in a tomb with honors and left to rot on his way to the afterlife for over two centuries. Albeit his well deserved rest is cut short by an ethereal voice, beckoning him once again to pick up the duties of his long forgotten order setting him once again on a path of seeming righteousness to complete a task for his god on borrowed time. The skeleton of a man however, has other ambitions.
